Building Control
Our professionally qualified and experienced Building Control team
check building proposals for compliance with Building Regulations
and inspect works during construction (you can request
a site inspection). Other related services include responding
to reported dangerous structures and other matters of public safety
such as demolitions and the licensing of places for entertainment
or sport.
If you are considering any building works or alterations to your
home, you may need to seek approval under the Building Regulations
by making a Full Plans or Building
Notice application. If you have already carried out building
works which should have been authorised you must apply for a regularisation
certificate. Charges will most probably
apply and can be calculated on our Charges
pages.
