"Verbal Tour" of Manor House

Manor House is located on The Green in Sidcup. Built in the 1790's, this superb Georgian listed building has been beautifully restored and makes a perfect setting for any ceremony. The Manor House is set in its own grounds which offer opportunities for photographs and has ample parking for guests. The Manor House has become one of the most popular ceremony venues in the South of England.

The ground floor ceremony room, the Georgian Suite, is furnished in an authentic Georgian style. The colour scheme is in shades of gold with burgundy highlights. With views to the gardens, this room offers you the perfect environment for your ceremony. The ground floor waiting room adjoins the ceremony room. This spacious room is the perfect area for guests to congregate and mingle prior to the commencement of the ceremony.

The Jade Suite on the first floor is of similar proportions to the ground floor suite. This elegant ceremony suite is gloriously decorated in shades of aquamarine and coral and its tasteful furnishings complement the décor.

The first floor waiting room is adjacent to the Jade Suite. This large room with high ceilings is the perfect place for guests to socialise prior to the commencement of the ceremony.

Please note that the first floor rooms are not suitable for those unable to climb stairs.

And please note that Manor House is not available for receptions.

Each room has its own CD sound system and a choice of music, or you may wish to supply your own. Alternatively, you may wish to have a singer, musicians or vocal group to accompany your ceremony.

For marriage and civil partnerships, you may choose from a number of options so you may be surprised that the ceremony has more to offer than you had expected. You may decide that you wish to have a simple ceremony with just two witnesses or something more elaborate with up to 50 guests depending on your choice of room. Whatever you decide, the staff at Manor House aim to make your day a very special and memorable occasion.
