Introduction to Resources plus Workshops
Location: Erith Riverside Centre
Day/Time: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 10am–12pm and Wednesday evenings
About the Course: This short 2 hour workshop will introduce participants to the services that Resources Plus can offer including job search, help with application forms and preparing CVs, training opportunities and work experience placements and Participants will have the opportunity to book places on the other workshops in the series.

Interview Skills and Personal Presentation Workshop
Location: Erith Riverside Centre
Day/Time: Fridays, 10am–12pm
About the Course: This short session gives participants useful hints and tips in preparing for, attending and following up from, interviews. It covers how to make a good first impression, suggests useful questions to ask in an interview and the importance of researching the company or organisation before the interview.

Application Forms Workshop
Location: Erith Riverside Centre
Day/Time: Fridays, 10am–12pm
About the Course: This short work shop will provide valuable hints, tips and guidelines to help you complete application forms successfully. This session will cover the general guidelines for completeing application forms, writing effective supporting statements and showing prospective employers that you meet their requirements. Participants will consider a variety of application forms.

Job Search Workshop
Location: Erith Riverside Centre
Day/Time: Fridays, 10am–12pm
About the Course: This short session introduces participants to effective job search techniques. Participants will investigate different sources of employment opportunities such as newspapers, the internet, recruitment agencies and trade press. They will then draft an action plan to help them search for work effectively.

CV Workshop
Location: Erith Riverside Centre
Day/Time: Fridays, 10am–12pm
About the Course: This short session introduces the key elements of producing a comprehensive CV. Participants will be guided through the form and content of a CV, and introduced to what should be included in a covering letter. They will also take the first steps to compiling their own CV.
