Secondary Schools
in Bexley
Schools for 11 - 18 year olds
There are 17 Secondary Schools in Bexley LA, including
four selective
schools, one bilateral school with a selective stream, five schools
which admit on a religious basis and a community business academy.
Admission to the selective schools and the selective stream is based on
ability and aptitude. Bexley holds selection tests during the autumn term
which decide the children who should be offered places at selective schools.
Admission to other schools is without reference to ability. Applications
for admission to the denominational schools are handled by the governing
bodies of those schools.
Admissions
Guidelines are produced annually, by the LA, which give the admissions
policy and details of each schools.
