We will treat everyone with sensitivity and respect and give every section
of the community equal access to services.

Fair Access to Care Services
Bexley wants to ensure that everyone who needs a social care
service receives it, however, it is important that priority is given to those
who need help most. The Fair Access To Care Services framework is a guide
on how we make decisions on who can receive a service from us.

Direct Payments for Social Care
Direct Payments are a way of arranging and managing your own
social care. If you are assessed as needing social care services, it is likely
you will be eligible to receive a payment instead of those services if you
wish. This payment allows you to purchase care services from an alternative
provider, which may be more convenient for you.

Data Protection
It is important to us that we safeguard all personal information
about the people we provide services to. Read the leaflet to find out how we
look after your personal information, and how you can access it.

Complaints, Comments and Suggestions
If you are unhappy with any service you receive from us, we
would like you to tell us, so we can take steps to put things right. We are
also happy to hear about any comments or suggestions you may have about our
services, either good or bad - both help us to know what we are doing right
and what we can improve upon. Read
