In April 2004, London Borough of Bexley installed two air quality monitoring stations near the junction of Thames Road and Iron Mill Lane (Air Quality Stations Location Plan - PDF file, 202KB). These have been monitoring air quality since then and will continue to do so throughout the construction period and afterwards as well.

The results from these monitoring stations, and all others in London, can be found on the London Air Quality website. They are updated on a daily basis. The two stations on Thames Road are known as Bexley 7 - Thames Rd North and Bexley 8 - Thames Rd South.
