Help with costs to keep warm!
Do not miss out
The Government is making Winter Fuel Payments to people aged 60 or over to help with the costs of keeping warm this winter.
If you are aged 60 or over on or before the 25 September 2005, your household could get a payment of £200 to help with your winter heating costs.
If you're aged 80 or over, you could get up to £300.
It will be paid automatically if you received a payment last year or you will be getting Retirement Pension or Pension Credit during the week of 19 to 25 September 2005.
For those who will not be paid automatically, you will need to make a claim.
Completed claim forms must reach the Pension Service by 23 September 2005 in order to receive a payment before Christmas. The final deadline for all claim forms for winter 2005 is 30th March 2006.
