Teen girlsBexley's Integrated Youth Strategy Consultation

The five main things that those working in Bexley want to achieve:

  1. Everyone involved with young people aged 11-19 years will work better together.
  • A group of those people who work with young people will be set up to make sure things get done and everyone is included.
  1. All young people aged 11-19 years old will know where they can go for different sorts of help and activities.
  • We will look at what's going on already.
  • We will make sure there is something for everyone aged 11-19 years in Bexley.
  1. All young people can get involved in agreeing what is needed and how it is delivered.
  • There will be more chances to have your say at events and through questionnaires.
  • We will make it easier for young people to join School Councils, Youth Councils and the Children's Parliament.
  1. All services for young people will be provided by the right people with the right skills.
  • We will make sure that services for young people are very good and meet high standards.
  • We will make sure that the staff and helpers who run services have good training and support.
  1. All the money we spend on services for young people will be put together so that more can be done.
  • We will join our money together to buy more.
  • We will use this money in ways that you say are best and where the need is greatest.
