Making a Difference

Bexley Youth Service is committed to making a difference to the lives of young people, ensuring a smooth transition to adulthood. Through delivery of a flexible and informal service, youth workers are able to reach out to some of the most 'hard to reach' young people enabling them to reach their personal goals.

Services

The Youth Service can offer you the following services:

  • Youth Centres in Welling, Barnehurst, Sidcup and Cray offering a range of activities including art, music, theme based workshops, advice and information, trips and visits, plus much more...

  • Streetwork across the Borough aimed at working with young people who would not normally attend a Youth Centre. Street based youth workers can offer you opportunities to participate in new and exciting projects as well as providing support, careers guidance and information and advice.

  • Projects that provide opportunities for you to participate in residentials, outdoor recreation and visits across the country. These include Holiday projects, a Motorbike project, and a Ball Court League.

  • Bexley Youth Council is a forum for young people aged 13-19. The council gives you the chance to make 'your voice heard', and to participate in local decision-making processes. For details of the next meeting please contact Sally Allen on 020 8836 8291.
