Bexley Youth Council

Elections

Every year Bexley Youth Council have elections. Leading up to the elections young people can put themselves forward to join the Youth Council and everyone in the school/youth centre can vote for who they want to have as their representative.

Bexley Youth Service support the elections and we aim to get in to as many schools and youth groups as possible.

People who are interested in joining the Youth Council should contact Sally Allen (Project Co-ordinator) in one of the following ways:

If your school or youth group are participating in the full election process you will be able to get involved this way and everyone will have the option of voting for you. If they are not then we will be able to work out a way for you to join us whilst representing other young people.

In 2008 the elections will be held during the week of 24th November.

Look out for posters and Z cards in your school or youth group.

If you are interested in becoming a member you will need to complete a ‘Manifesto’ sheet and a ‘Personal Information’ form. These are both easy to fill out but if you need help call or text the number above.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Bexley Youth Council - Good luck!
