Bike park consultation

The Council will be displaying its proposals to transform part of Martens Grove Park in Bexleyheath into a new community bike park at an open day.

Local residents will be able to leave feedback and discuss the plans with staff members from Access Sport and Bexley’s Sport and Leisure team.

The proposal includes renovating the old tennis courts into a potential new base for a volunteer-led cycling club, including an off-road all-access track.

The London Borough of Bexley has been working with charity Access Sport on the proposed bike park’s design, which has been created to suit all abilities of riders, including people with disabilities.

Residents can have their say in person by attending the special event.

Date: Saturday 13 October
