Enjoy a last taste of Summer at the Erith Pier Festival!
On Saturday 29 September the Erith Pier Festival will be bringing Erith’s iconic pier to life! Head down to the river between 11am – 9pm to toast the end of the summer and enjoy fun for all the family.
Sample some fantastic food flavours from a variety of street food stalls as the Erith Kitchen moves to the Pier for its last outing this summer. Relax and listen to a great line-up of local musicians against the backdrop of Erith’s riverfront.
Celebrate the end of summer with some real ales and ciders from our Beer on the Pier tent, run by your favourite local brewers, Bexley Brewery. There will also be fun and games for all the family with Pirates on the Pier.
Deputy Council Leader and Cabinet Member for Growth, Cllr Louie French said, “I hope local residents and people outside the Borough will come along and enjoy the Erith Pier Festival and its unique setting by the River Thames.”
“Community events such as this are just one of a range of initiatives aimed at developing this part of our borough into a thriving riverside town.”
The Erith Pier Festival has been organised as part of the Greater Erith Regeneration programme and follows a successful programme of events last year at the Erith Lighthouse, funded by London Borough of Bexley and the Mayor of London. The Erith Pier Festival is also supported by Morrisons.
