The London Borough of Bexley has developed a new online portal for job opportunities to make it quicker and easier to apply and search for vacancies with the Council.
The Council is made up of a wide range of departments, roles, and professions, all working together to deliver services to residents.
Registering an account on the new portal is a quick and simple process. Users can also choose to receive new job alerts as soon as new roles are added. The Council regularly advertises its vacancies on social media including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram and displays its vacancies on various advertising boards across the borough.
Cabinet Member for Resources, Councillor David Leaf said:
“We want to make it as easy as possible for anyone to apply for a position here at the Council.
“Our previous site needed a refresh and had limited ability to navigate our vacancies. Our new system has many additional functions so if you are looking to work for an ambitious local authority then take a look to see if you can help us ‘make Bexley even better.”
