Libraries at night promise delight!

Get ready for some brilliant after-hour activities at your local library this February and March - when Bexley Libraries launches its exciting 'Libraries at Night' programme!

'Libraries at Night' runs from Saturday 16 February until Saturday 2 March, alongside Bexley Libraries' BookBuzz literary festival.

The night-time fun will include music, dance, a murder mystery, an escape room challenge, comedy, board games for adults – and much more.

Cllr Peter Craske, Bexley’s Cabinet Member for Places said: “This new and innovative use of our libraries at night will show that the fun doesn’t have to stop at closing time.

“We are offering a fantastic programme of events at a very reasonable price – and in some cases they are free. I hope that both existing and new library users will come along and enjoy them.

"Library buildings are at the heart of our communities and by opening them up for evening activities we can make sure that our fantastic library services reach even more people."

Event booklets are available in branch from 8 January and can also be downloaded from the Bexley Libraries website.

Tickets can be booked online or at your Council run library.

The ‘Libraries at Night’ programme received £14,000 from the Carnegie UK Trust’s prestigious Library Lab programme, which supports and develops innovation and leadership in the public library sector.
