Various Roads in the London Borough of Bexley - Remembrance Day Parades - Notice of Intention
- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned roads, in exercise of powers conferred by section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable special events to take place, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will enable the short closure to vehicular traffic, when required by the Metropolitan Police Service of the roads in Schedule One to this Order, between 10am and 1.30pm on Sunday 12 November 2023
• Prohibition of traffic – Bexleyheath, Crayford, Foots Cray, Bexley and Sidcup area as per schedule one of this order - The Order will come into effect on 12 November 2023. However, the event will be completed within 1 day
- Whilst the event is in progress, no alternative route will be available to use
- Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with this event
- The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016 or by the Metropolitan Police Service

- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable The Annual Firework Display, Danson Park for the Welling Round Table, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
• Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition in the following roads as listed in Schedule One of the Order - The Order will come into effect on 4 November 2023. However, the event is expected to be completed within 1 day.
- Whilst the works are in progress, no alternative route will be required.

Gravel Hill, Bexleyheath - Notice of Making an Order
- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable a telecom mast to be installed and associated works on cabinets, by ICS Group on behalf of O2, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
• A directional road closure to vehicle traffic on Gravel Hill and the junction of the Broadway, southbound towards Old Bexley
• A cycle lane suspension outside Gravel Hill school - The Order will come into effect on 6 November 2023 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 1 night
- Whilst the works are in progress, an alternative diversion route will be provided via
• Broadway, Highland Road, Albion Road, Gravel Hill - Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works
- The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

The Bexley (Sidcup Town Centre) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. 7)
Traffic Order 2023 - The London Borough of Bexley have on 30 November 2023 made a Traffic Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Orders would be to amend the Bexley (Sidcup Town Centre) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018:
- Remove the existing ‘Resident Permit or Limited Waiting 2 hours no return within 1 hour Monday to Saturday 9am-5.30pm’ in front of Number 10 Craybrooke Road, Sidcup The parking bay which currently operates between 9am and 5.30pm, Monday to Saturday will be replaced with a single yellow line restriction of ’9am and 5.30pm Monday to Saturday’
- Convert the existing ‘Limited Waiting 1 hour no return within 1 hour Mon-Sat 9am-5.30pm’ to a ‘Resident Permit or Limited Waiting 2 hours no return within 1 hour Monday to Saturday 9am to 5.30pm’ outside of Number 5 Craybrooke Road, Sidcup.
Copies of the Order which becomes operational on 6 November 2023, the corresponding Parent Order (and the Orders that have amended that Order); the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Order and plans which indicate the length of road to which the Order relates can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Contact Centre, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT.
Persons desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the day on which the Order were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
