NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Mayor and Burgesses of the London Borough of Bexley (the Council) in exercise of their powers under section 123 of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended by the Local Government Planning and Land Act 1980) intend to dispose of land known as the Glass House and Butterfly Green House at Hall Place, Bourne Road, Bexley DA5 1PQ by way of a lease together with such ancillary rights for pedestrian and vehicular access and utility rights:
The area of land known as the Glass House and Butterfly Green House at Hall Place, Bourne Road, Bexley DA5 1PQ form the parts:
- coloured red; and
- hatched red
On plan number BVS8668, which extends to approximately 791 square metres. The land is to be disposed for a term of 10 years.

Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2025
Olyffe Avenue, Welling - Notice of Intention
- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable the repair of a collapsed pipe by Cappagh Contractors on behalf of Thames Water they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
- Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Olyffe Avenue at the junction with Lovel Avenue, Welling
- The Order will come into effect on 19 May 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 10 Days.
- Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via,
- Lovel Avenue, Burnell Avenue and reverse
- Lovel Avenue, Upper Wickham Lane, Burnell Avenue and reverse
- Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
- The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable Forefront Utilities on behalf of Southern Gas Networks to undertake their Gas Mains Replacement works, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
- Prohibition of traffic on Exmouth Road, Welling, from the junction with Sidmouth Road to the junction with Okehampton Crescent, Welling
Restrictions to be removed when not required.
- Prohibition of traffic on Exmouth Road, Welling, from the junction with Sidmouth Road to the junction with Okehampton Crescent, Welling
- The Order will come into effect on 12 May 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 10 weeks.
- Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via:
- Okehampton Crescent, Plymstock Road, Budleigh Crescent, Seaton Road

The Bexley (Amendment No. XX) Traffic Order 2025 - Bexleyheath station and Sidcup station parking places
- NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley propose to make the above titled Traffic Order under Sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.
- The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Order would be to amend the Bexley (Sidcup Station) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018:
- Reduce the existing Resident Permit Parking Bay in front of No 17 Neville Close, Sidcup by 5.0 metres
- The section of parking bay proposed to be removed currently operates between 1pm and 3pm, Monday to Friday, this will be replaced with a single yellow line restriction of ’1pm and 3pm Monday to Friday’.
- There is a loss of one parking place.
- The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Order would be to amend the Bexley (Bexleyheath Station) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018: -
- Reduce the existing Resident Permit Parking Bay in front of No 9 Somersham Road, Bexleyheath to 6.0 metres
- The section of parking bay proposed to be removed currently operates between 10.00am and 12.00pm, Monday to Friday, this will be replaced with a single yellow line restriction of ’10.00am and 12.00pm Monday to Friday’.
- There is a loss of 3.9 metres of parking place.
- Copies of the proposed Orders, the corresponding Parent Orders (and the Orders that have amended those Orders); the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders and plans which indicate the length of roads to which the Orders relate can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Contact Centre, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT.
