Notification Of An Application For Planning Permission Within The Old Forge Way Conservation Area

Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2023
Durham Road, Sidcup - Notice of Intention
- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable Southern Gas Networks to lay a new service they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
- Prohibition of traffic in Durham Road outside 10a.
- The Order will come into effect on 25th September 2023 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 days
- Whilst the works are in progress, the alternative route will be via:
- Sidcup Hill, Lincoln Road, Warwick Road
- Sidcup Hill, Rectory Lane, knoll Road, Sidcup Hill Durham Road
- Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
- The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Riverside Road to Bexley High Street Footpath 146, Bexley - Notice of Making an Order
- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned footpath, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an Order has been made, to enable Network Rail to install of new lift shafts and bridge at Bexley Station the effects of which will be to close Riverside Road to Bexley High Street Footpath 146, Bexley to pedestrian traffic between Manor Way and Bexley Station
- The Order will come into effect on 14 September 2023 and is valid for a period of 6 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 6 months.
- Whilst the works are in progress, Manor Way, Salisbury Road, Parkhill Road, Bexley High Street, Tanyard Lane will be available for pedestrians.
- Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, to emergency service personnel or to persons undertaking the works.
- The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
