Robina Close, Bexleyheath - Notice of Intention

The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable Highway improvement works by JB Riney on behalf of London Borough of Bexley they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

  1. Prohibition of traffic (Road closure) O/S and OPP 5 to 9
    • Access to remain open to residents at all times
  2. No Waiting, No Loading (Parking suspension) O/S and OPP 5 to 9
  3. The Order will come into effect on 29 Jan 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 8 Days
  4. Whilst the works are in progress no alternate route will be required
  5. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works
  6. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016

Thames Road, Crayford - Notice of Making an Order

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable Installation of electricity cable by Riverside Energy Park Limited, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
    • Directional Road Closure to vehicular traffic on Thames Road from Crayford Way to Howbury Lane.
    • Speed Reduction from 40mph to 30mph, from Perry Street roundabout to Burnham Road both sides of carriageway.
    • Banned Turning movement on roundabouts where signposted as and when works require.
    • Banned Turning movement from Iron Mill Lane, Mayplace Avenue, Kennet Road, Thames Road slip road preventing ingress and egress.
    • Cycle Lane Suspension from Perry Street roundabout to Burnham Road both sides of carriageway when required.
  2. The Order will come into effect on 22 January 2024  and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 6 Months.
  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via,
    • Thames Road
    • Burnham Road
    • Victoria Road
    • Hythe Street
    • Westgate Road
    • West Hill
    • Dartford Road
    • Crayford Road
    • Roman Way
    • London Road
    • Crayford High Street
    • Perry Street
    • Thames Road
    • Diversions for local roads to be signposted when required to pick up main diversion.
  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works
  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016

Gas Mains Replacement Scheme in Bristow Road, Bexleyheath - Notice of Intention

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable JDT Utilities on behalf of Southern Gas Networks to undertake their Gas Main Replacement Works they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
        • Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on both sides of the carriageway in Bristow Road, Bexleyheath
        • A Road closure to vehicular traffic in Bristow Road restrictions to be removed when work is not required and all road closures to be during off peak hours.
  2. The Order will come into effect on 29 January 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 weeks.
  3. Whilst the works are in progress, local diversions will be in place and signposted, when required.
  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable Highway improvement works by Lovell Partnership Limited, the effects of which will be the introduction of

Gas Mains Replacement Scheme various roads in Bexleyheath - Notice of Intention

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable JDT Utilities on behalf of Southern Gas Networks to undertake their Gas Main Replacement Works they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
    • Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition in roads detailed in Schedule One of this Order. These restrictions will be for the full length of the carriageway on both sides of the road until otherwise detailed in Schedule One of this Order.
    • A Road closure to vehicular traffic in roads detailed in Schedule One of this Order restrictions to be removed when work is not required and all road closures to be during off peak hours.
  2. The Order will come into effect on 29 January 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 8 weeks.
  3. Whilst the works are in progress, local diversions will be in place and signposted, when required.
