The Bexley (Sidcup Station) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. XX) Traffic Order 2025

  1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley propose to make the above titled Traffic Order under Sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.
  2. The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Order would be to amend the Bexley (Sidcup Station) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018:
  • Remove the existing free Parking Bay in front of No. 60a Hatherley Road Sidcup
  • The removed bay will be replaced with a single yellow line restriction of '1pm and 3pm Monday to Friday’
  1. Copies of the proposed Order, the corresponding Parent Order (and the Orders that have amended those Orders); the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order and plan which indicate the length of roads to which the Order relates can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Contact Centre, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT.

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable gas mains replacement works by JDT Utilities on behalf of Southern Gas networks the effects of which will be the introduction of:
  • Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) for the entire length of Gwillim Close, Sidcup

Restriction to be removed when not required.

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable JDT Utilities Ltd on behalf of Southern Gas Networks to undertake their Gas Mains Replacement works, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
  • Prohibition of traffic in Burdon Close, Sidcup – entire road
  • Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition in Burdon Close, Sidcup – both sides of the carriageway

  1. Notice is Hereby Given that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley have on 30 June made the above titled Traffic Orders under Sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.
  2. The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Order would be to amend the Bexley (West Sidcup Station) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018:
  • Reduce the existing Resident Permit Parking Bay in front of No 17 Neville Close, Sidcup by 5.0 metres
  • The section of parking bay proposed to be removed currently operates between 1pm and 3pm, Monday to Friday, this will be replaced with a single yellow line restriction of ’ 1pm and 3pm Monday to Friday’. There is a loss of one parking place.
  1. The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Order would be to amend the Bexley (Bexleyheath Station) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018:
  • Reduce the existing Resident Permit Parking Bay in front of No 9 Somersham Road, Bexleyheath to 6.0 metres
  • The section of parking bay proposed to be removed currently operates between 10.00am and 12.00pm, Monday to Friday, this will be replaced with a single yellow line restriction of ’10.00am and 12.00pm Monday to Friday’. There is a loss of 3.9 metres of parking place.
  1. The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Order would be to amend the Bexley (Albany Park Station) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018:
  • Remove the existing Resident Permit Parking Bay in front of 65 Carisbrooke Avenue Sidcup.
  • The bay that is proposed to be removed currently operates between 11am and 12pm Monday to Friday, this will be replaced with a single yellow line restriction of ’11am and 12pm Monday to Friday’.

Persons desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the day on which the Order were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court
