Gas Mains Replacement Scheme various roads in Bexleyheath - Notice of Making an Order
- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable JDT Utilities Ltd on behalf of Southern Gas Networks to undertake their Gas Mains Replacement Scheme in various roads in Bexleyheath, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
• waiting restriction and Loading prohibition in roads detailed in Schedule One of this Order. These restrictions will be for the full length of the carriageway on both sides of the road until otherwise detailed in Schedule One of this Order
• prohibition of traffic in road detailed in Schedule One of this Order. These restrictions will be for the full length of the carriageway whilst the Vac Ex is in use. Restrictions will be removed when not required - The Order will come into effect on 28 August 2023 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 14 weeks.
- Whilst the works are in progress, alternative routes will be provided for the Vax Ex closures:
