Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2022

Gas Mains Replacement Scheme in Various Roads in Erith - Notice of Making an Order

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable Gas Mains Replacement Scheme in various roads in Erith, by JDT Utilities on behalf of Southern Gas Networks, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
    • Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition in roads detailed in Schedule One of this Order. These restrictions will be for the full length of the carriageway on both sides for the roads detailed in Schedule One of this Order
    Restrictions will be removed when not required.
  2. The Order will come into effect on 5 September 2022 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 52 weeks.
  3. Whilst the works are in progress, no diversion route will be required.
  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable JB Riney on behalf the London Borough of Bexley to undertake highways improvement works, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
    • Prohibition of traffic on Slade Green Road from the junction with Manor Road to the junction with Richmer Road, Erith
    • Waiting restriction on Slade Green Road from the junction with Manor Road to the junction with Richmer Road, Erith
    • Loading prohibition on Slade Green Road from the junction with Manor Road to the junction with Richmer Road, Erith
  2. The Order will come into effect on 5 September 2022 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 8 nights from 7pm to 2am each night
  3. Whilst the works are in progress, an alternative route will be provided via:
    • Manor Road, James Watt Way, Queens Road, South Road, Northend Road (Southbound), Bridge Road
    • Bridge Road, Northend Road (Northbound), South Road, Queens Road, James Watt Way, Manor Road
  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable Morrison Water Services on behalf of Thames Water to install a new water connection, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
    • Waiting restriction - 4 x spaces outside and opposite 28 to 32 Betsham Road, Erith
    • Loading prohibition - 4 x spaces outside and opposite 28 to 32 Betsham Road, Erith
  2. The Order will come into effect on 6 September 2022 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 days.
  3. Whilst the works are in progress, no alternative route will be required.

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable Powercare on behalf of UK Power Networks to install a new electrical connection they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
    • Prohibition of traffic on Trinity Place from the Church entrance to the dead end
