The Bexley (Crayford Station)(Parking Places) (Amendment No. XX) Traffic Order 2021

  1. Notice is Hereby Given that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley propose to make the above mentioned Traffic Order under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.
  2. The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Order would be to amend the Bexley (Crayford Station)(Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018:
    a) to remove the existing ‘free parking place’ in front of Nos. 37 and 39 Heath Road, Crayford
    b) the section of carriageway where the bay currently stands will be replaced with a single yellow line restriction of ’9.00am and 11.00am Monday to Friday’.
  3. Copies of the proposed Order, the corresponding Parent Order (and any Orders that have amended that Order), the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order, and maps which indicates the length of road to which the Order relates, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Contact Centre, Civic Offices, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath DA6 7AT.
  4. Further information may be obtained by telephoning Michael Wenbourne on 020 3045 3943.
  5. Any person desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the London Borough of Bexley, Traffic Services, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath DA6 7AT or by email to traffic@bexley.gov.uk within twenty-one days of this Notice.
  6. Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that this Council would be legally obliged to make any comment received in response to this Notice, open to public inspection.

Proposed development at 5 Old Forge Way Sidcup Kent

I give notice that application is being made by Mr P Macionis to the London Borough of Bexley Council for planning permission for:- Part one/ part two-storey side and rear extension. Alterations to roofline incorporating a rear and front window in the gable end, side dormer and three roof lights in the side roof slope to provide rooms in the roof space.

Notice Of Application For Planning Permission For Development Which May Not Accord With The Provisions Of The Development Plan

Proposed development at The Sportsmans Sports And Leisure Club, 35 Moat Lane, Erith

I give notice that application is being made by Mr P Johnson to the London Borough of Bexley Council for planning permission for:-

Demolition of existing building and erection of a two-storey residential block comprising 2 x 1 bed and 7 x 2-bed apartments with associated refuse and cycle store, landscaping and parking.

Members of the public can view the application, and submit any observations on the proposal, using the Planning Application Information Online system. Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2021

(Parish Gate Drive, Sidcup)

Notice Of Making An Order

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable the installation of a new water connection in the carriageway and footway outside and outside 3 Parish Gate Drive, Sidcup at the rear of 314 to 316 Bexley Road, Sidcup, by Agility Alliance on behalf of Thames Water, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
    a) Prohibition to Traffic outside Nos 1 – 3 Parish Gate Drive, Sidcup at the junction with Blackfen Road, Sidcup
  2. The Order will come into effect on 10 May 2021 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
  3. Whilst the works are in progress, no alternative route will be required. However, access will be maintained via road plates for residents, emergency vehicles and deliveries.
  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
