Various Roads in the London Borough of Bexley - Remembrance Day Parades - Notice of Making an Order
- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned roads, in exercise of powers conferred by section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable a special event to take place, an Order the effects of which will the short closure to vehicular traffic, when required by the Metropolitan Police Service of the roads in Schedule One to this Order, between 10am and 1:30pm on Sunday 12 November 2023
- Prohibition of traffic – Bexleyheath, Crayford, Foots Cray, Bexley and Sidcup area as per schedule one of this order. - The Order will come into effect on 12 November 2023. However, the event will be completed within 1 day.
- Whilst the works are in progress, no alternative route will be available to use.
- Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with this event.
- The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016 or by the Metropolitan Police Service.

The Bexley (Crayford Station) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. XX) Traffic Order 20XX
- Notice Is Hereby Given that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley propose to make the above-mentioned Traffic Order under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.
- The general effect of the Bexley (Crayford Station) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. XX) Traffic Order 20XX would be amend the Bexley (Crayford Station) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018 to remove the end section of the Resident Permit parking place in front of No. 69 Heath Road, Crayford. The existing footway residents parking bay which currently operates between 9am and 11am, Monday to Friday will be amended from 24.5 metres to 19.0 metres. There are no changes to the single yellow line restriction at the location.
- Copies of the proposed Order, the corresponding Parent Order (and any Orders that have amended that Order), the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order, and maps which indicates the length of road to which the Order relates, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Contact Centre, Civic Offices, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT.
