Picardy Road, Belvedere - Notice of Intention
- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable Morrison Water Services on behalf of Thames Water to install a new connection in the footway and carriageway, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
• Prohibition of traffic - directional closure on Picardy Road, Belvedere
• Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on Picardy Road - 9 x spaces from Baird House to the Dentists at 17 Picardy Road, Belvedere - The Order will come into effect on 21 August 2023 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 7 working days.
- Whilst the works are in progress, an alternative route will be provided via:
• Picardy Street, Gilbert Road, Abbey Road, Knee Hill, Woolwich Road, Picardy Road, and vice versa
