
Bexley High Street will be closed from Bourne Road to the carpark just before the railway bridge from 7pm on Thursday 3 August due to a water leak and collapsed pavement.
Friday 4 August update - The Thames Water repair was completed last night and the road was reopened at 9.10am this morning.
Thames Water has made safe the collapsed pavement outside 85 Bexley High Street with a temporary footway board.
The following traffic diversions will be in place:
Vehicles travelling from Bourne Road to Bexley High Street
Bexley High Street, Hurst Road, Footscray Lane Faraday Avenue, Hatherley Crescent, Station Road, Sidcup High Street, Sidcup Hill Footscray High Street, Maidstone Road, North Cray Road and reverse.
Vehicles traveling via North Cray Road
North Cray Road, Vicarage Road, Dartford Road, Old Bexley Lane, A2, Southwold Road, Bourne Road.
Vehicles traveling via Bexley High Street
Bourne Road, Thanet Road, pick up Hurst Road diversion.
