Channel Panel – safeguarding for people vulnerable to radicalisation
Channel Panels are part of the government’s ‘Prevent’ strategy, which aims to stop people becoming terrorists or supporting extremism. They are multi-agency meetings, chaired by the Local Authority, designed to identify and provide support to individuals who are at risk.
If you are concerned that someone you know is at risk of becoming radicalised and/or involved in terrorism, and you would like to refer to the Channel Panel please:

- telephone 020 8303 7777 and ask for Community Safety team
Referrals should be made to the Local Authority within which the individual lives.
