New Council Tax reminder communication
In order to connect with our customers who fall behind with their Council Tax payments, the Council has now adopted a new approach, where customers will receive an automated phone call to advise that a payment for their Council Tax is overdue. If no answer is received, or the phone call is terminated before the message has been delivered, then a text or email will be sent advising how to pay, if we have the appropriate details.
Payment can be made online or via the touch tone payment line of 020 3045 5200. If you receive a text or email you can use the web form link to make a payment.
Alternatively, you can sign up to direct debit, 75% of our customers now pay using this method.
