The project works closely with single people living in temporary accommodation, helping to find suitable and stable accommodation, while also giving support with complex issues, including; drug and alcohol misuse, financial insecurity and concerns around physical health and mental wellbeing.
What we offer:
- a dedicated support worker
- help to access local support services
- assistance in removing long-term barriers to housing
How it works
Step 1: Enrolment onto the programme.
Step 2: Assignment of a dedicated support worker from Kineara - someone that can help you throughout your journey to independent and stable accommodation.
Step 3: Person-centred support and advice for individuals to access accommodation in the private rented sector.
Step 4: Access to a range of local support services, tailored to your individual needs, such as:
- support with financial concerns and rent arrears
- education, training and employment opportunities
- advice for improved physical health and mental wellbeing
Step 5: Entry into independent, stable and long-term accommodation.
