Not out or no access
This means that our collection crews have reported that your container was not available for collection. Please ensure that your waste and recycling is available for collection from 6.00am on your scheduled collection day. Find your collection day.
To dispose of waste that was not collected you can:
- store it until your next collection (please make sure that it is correctly presented)
- take it to the reuse and recycling centres (or mini-recycling sites if recycling) for free
- Arrange an additional waste collection at £15 per collection (conditions apply) by contacting us
Container is damaged
If your bin or box is damaged it cannot be safely emptied by our crews. Please order a replacement container. A replacement container will be delivered within 10 working days. Please remember to request that your damaged container is removed (it can be collected when full).
Overweight or compacted
Attempting to empty heavy bins or boxes can damage the containers, lifting equipment and pose a health and safety risk for our crews. Please reduce the weight of the container before your next collection. Additional waste or recycling can be taken to the reuse and recycling centres.
Wrong container used
We can only collect waste or recycling that is in the correct container. If you do not have the correct containers please request waste containers. A replacement container will be delivered within 10 working days.
