London Borough of Bexley - Notice of Council Tax Year Ending 31 March 2025

Notice is hereby given that at a meeting held on Wednesday 6 March 2024 and in accordance with Section 30 of the Local Government Finance Act 1992 the Council of the London Borough of Bexley as the Billing Authority for the said Borough resolved to set the following amounts in relation to the categories of dwellings in its area as the Council Tax for the financial year beginning 1 April 2024 and ending 31 March 2025.

Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2024

Upper Park Road and Lower Park Road, Belvedere - Notice of Making an Order

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable Highway improvement works by JB Riney on behalf of London Borough of Bexley, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
    - no waiting no loading (parking suspension) for the entire length of Upper Park Road and Lower Park Road, Belvedere
    - prohibition of traffic (road closure) for the entire length of Upper Park Road and Lower Park Road, Belvedere
  2. The Order will come into effect on 25 March 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 10 days.
  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via:
    - Picardy Street – Gilbert Road – St Augustine Road – Heron Hill – Woolwich Road – Erith Road
    - Picardy Road – Erith Road
  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Florence Road, Abbey Wood - Notice of Intention

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable sewer cleaning by Lanes Group on behalf of Thames Water they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of Prohibition of traffic (road closure) in Florence Road from the junction of Abbey Road to the junction of Fendyke Road.
  2. The Order will come into effect on 1 April 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 1 night.
  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via Fendyke Road – Fossington Road – Abbey Road.
  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Queens Road and Bexley Road, Erith - Notice of Intention

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable Installation of electricity cable by Riverside Energy Park Limited they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
    - prohibition of traffic (Road closure) Queens Road northbound from junction of South Road to fish roundabout, Erith
    - banned Turning Movements on Queens Road, Erith preventing egress from James Watt Way, Erith
    - prohibition of traffic (Road closure) Bexley Road, from junction with Fraser Road to junction with Victoria Road, Erith
  2. The Order will come into effect on 2 April 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 2 weeks.
  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via:
    - Queens Road and Bexley Road - James Watt Way – around the roundabout – Queens Road – South Road – Northend Road – Perry Street – Crayford High Street – Crayford Road – Roman Way – London Road – Watling Street – Erith Road – Bexley Road – Queens Road
    - Queens Road and Bexley Road - Bexley Road – Erith Road – Watling Street – London Road -Crayford High Street – Perry Street – Northend Road – South Road.
    - Local diversions will be signposted when works require.
    - Diversion for Fraser Road - Queens Road -South Road - Northend Road – Perry Street – Crayford High Street – Crayford Road – Roman Way – London Road – Watling Street – Erith Road – Long Lane – Brampton Road – Woolwich Road – Erith Road – Fraser Road and reverse
  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable the connection of new electricity supply by Compass Infrastructure on behalf of UK Power Networks they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
    - prohibition of traffic (road closure) of Ightham Road, Erith junction with Bedonwell Road, Belvedere
    - prohibition of traffic (road closure) of Hythe Avenue, Bexleyheath junction with Bedonwell Road, Belvedere
    - prohibition of traffic (road closure) of Little Heath Road, Bexleyheath junction with Bedonwell Road, Belvedere
    - banned turning movements from Bedonwell Road, Belvedere into Ightham Road, Erith, Little Heath Road Bexleyheath and Hythe Avenue, Bexleyheath
    - no Waiting no loading (parking suspension) in Bedonwell Road from Long Lane, Bexleyheath to Parsonage Manorway, Belvedere
    - parking restrictions to be in place when works require. Restrictions will be lifted when not required
  2. The Order will come into effect on 29 March 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 14 Days.
  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via:
    - traffic for Little Heath Road - Bedonwell Road – Long Lane – Cumberland Drive – Little Heath Road
    - traffic for Ightham Road - Bedonwell Road – Belmont Road – Swanton Road– Nurstead Road – Ightham Road and reverse
    - traffic for Hythe Avenue - Hythe Avenue – Chiddingstone Avenue – Stapleton Road – Bedonwell Road
  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Haldane Road and Bernal Close, Thamesmead - Notice of Intention

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable highway improvement works by JB Riney on behalf of London Borough of Bexley they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
    - no Waiting no loading (parking suspension) in Haldane Road and Bernal Close for whole length of road
    - prohibition of traffic (road closure) Haldane Road and Bernal Close
    - access will be provided to residents and emergency vehicles at all times
    - work to be carried out at off peak times
  2. The Order will come into effect on 2 April 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
  3. Whilst the works are in progress no alternative route will be required.
  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Town and Country Planning Act 1990 The Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990

Notification of an Application for Planning Permission Within The Parkhurst Conservation Area

Proposed development at 43 Knoll Road, Bexley.

I give notice that application is being made by Mr A Ahmet to the London Borough of Bexley Council for planning permission for Erection of a single storey rear extension following demolition of existing conservatory.

Members of the public can view the application, and submit any observations on the proposal, using the Planning Application Information Online system.
