About the Connected Communities Strategy

The Council adopted the Connected Communities Strategy in July 2019.

It sets out how we will work with local people who want to take positive action to support the people and places that they care about. It outlines the London Borough of Bexley’s plans for supporting and investing in community development up to 2023.

It is well-connected communities that play a critical role in delivering on a number of council priorities including managing growth that benefits all, preventing people and families from reaching crisis, supporting residents to live well, for longer and, by doing all this, also helping us meet the budgetary challenge that we face.
