This course is for anyone eager to enhance their cooking abilities and find out more about making delicious and healthy meals. Whether you're a beginner looking to learn the fundamentals or an aspiring home chef wanting to expand your recipe repertoire, this course has something for everyone.
 
Over the duration of the course, participants will:
 
  • Learn essential kitchen skills, food safety, and efficient preparation methods. 
  • Explore a variety of cuisines and cooking styles, from classic dishes to contemporary twists on favourites. 
  • Gain hands-on experience in preparing meals, including desserts. 
  • Discover how to plan and prepare balanced, nutritious meals on a budget. 
  • Get creative with ingredients, experimenting with flavours, textures, and presentations.
 
What to Expect: Each session will focus on a different aspect of cooking, starting with the basics and gradually advancing to more complex techniques. Our experienced instructors will provide demonstrations, guidance, and personalised tips to help you develop confidence in the kitchen. You'll also have the opportunity to work in pairs or small groups, fostering a fun and collaborative learning environment. Whether you're cooking for yourself, your family, or looking to impress friends, this course will equip you with the skills and inspiration to make every meal a success!
 
This course is for:
 
  • adults aged 18 and over. 
  • anyone who lives or works in the London Borough of Bexley or is registered as a patient with a Bexley GP. 
     
Once signed up, if you are unable to attend any of the sessions, we kindly ask that you withdraw and register for an alternative club that better suits your availability.
