Bexley’s new Economic Growth Strategy (February 2026)

The Council has adopted an Economic Growth Strategy, which will help Bexley meet the need for new homes and jobs. It sets out a refreshed vision, themes and principles for inclusive growth over the next 15 years, linked to an action plan of interventions.

It will ensure growth is managed carefully to benefit local people. It will also bring benefits to transport connectivity, economic prosperity and skills.

Bexley Growth Strategy (December 2017)

The Bexley Growth Strategy is a propositional, spatial approach to growth to 2050 that formed key evidence for the Bexley Local Plan, adopted in 2023, which seeks to deliver the first 15 years of growth set out in the strategy.
