Bexley’s Steering Group 

The HAF Programme in Bexley has developed significantly since it first started in the borough in 2021.  It has been supported by a steering group which works collaboratively to ensure the most positive outcomes for the children.

The Steering Group for the Bexley HAF Programme consists of the following:

  • London Borough of Bexley Council representatives:
    • Deputy Director Education, Achievement & Inclusion
    • Early Years Lead - Education
    • Project Manager: 14-19 Services - Education
    • Service Manager – Children with Disabilities Service
    • Team Manager - Targeted Youth services
    • Assistant Head of the Virtual School - Social services and safeguarding
  • The Metropolitan Police Force
  • Head Teacher - Mayplace Primary School
  • Bexley Voluntary Service Council representative:
    • CYP Support Manager / Public Health Strategist

Over the last year we have worked with 31 specialist providers to deliver a programme full of variety.  Our providers have worked hard to ensure our programme is that of excellent quality, fun, engaging, enriching and inclusive for all eligible children aged 4-16.  A particular strength in Bexley is the SEND provision offered.
