The London Borough of Bexley, in partnership with RNIB, is holding an accessible voting workshop for blind and partially sighted electors ahead of the Local Elections taking place on 7 May 2026.

The workshop will support blind and partially sighted residents to understand:

  • how voting works?
  • what support is available at polling stations?
  • how to vote independently, in secret and with confidence?
  • what accessibility adjustments are currently available and how to request further reasonable adjustments?

The workshop will also give attendees the chance to try out voting devices designed to help blind and partially sighted electors to vote independently and in private.

There will be time to ask questions and talk through any concerns about voting.

Workshop location, date and time

  • Tuesday 24 March
  • 2:30 pm to until 4:00 pm
  • Civic Offices
    2 Watling Street
    Bexleyheath
