The deadline for auditions is fast approaching for Theatre Box Performing Arts Academy’s Bexley Got Talent, with applications closing on Friday 1 August.

The talent show, which takes place at the Delta Marriott Hotel in Bexleyheath on Saturday 4 October, is a borough-wide event providing a platform for all of Bexley’s stars of tomorrow and invites all those with special talents to take part.

This competition is open to all ages and judges will review video submissions of one minute to decide on its finalists.

Theatre Box won the Business of the Year award at the Bexley Business Awards 2025 in April and want to build on this success with a borough-wide talent competition which is already set to feature dancers, singers and performance artists,

Councillor Cafer Munur, Cabinet Member for Place Shaping said: 

I was delighted to see Theatre Box win the overall Business of the Year award and I cannot wait to see them use their creative business skills to engage the whole community by hosting Bexley’s Got Talent.

The show promises to be great fun, as well as a fantastic opportunity to get our talented residents up on stage, including many of our young people. 

Bexley has a rich tradition of performance, with a wealth of performing arts schools, including elite institutions that bring students from across the world to Bexley.  I cannot wait to see what local talent is discovered through the competition to the Live finals.”
