Family fun at Crook Log Community Festival

Plenty of family-friendly activities will be on offer on Saturday 21 June as Crook Log Leisure Centre hold their Community Festival.

To celebrate the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025, the leisure centre is looking to get as many children aged between six and 12 years old as possible involved in their T1 Rugby programme in Bexleyheath.

The leisure centre is working with the RFU as part of their new Try Together T1 Rugby Programme to deliver non-contact rugby sessions throughout the day on 21 June.

The event will include introductions to scrums, lineouts and breakdowns in a safe and inclusive environment.

Crook Log Leisure Centre will be offering free and £1 activities as part of the event.

These include:

X- Treme Air

  • £1 per child
  • Children and teenagers aged five to 14 will be able to take on inflatable obstacles and take part in other activities, with a specific SEN session also available.

Stay and Play Tots

  • £1 per child
  • Soft play sessions will be available for young children aged up to five and will feature a variety of play equipment and ride-on toys.
  • A specific SEN session is also available

Family Swimming Fun ‘n’ Floats

  • £1 per person
  • Families will be able to take part in this pool session offering toys and floatation devices.

Try Together T1 Rugby

  • Free sessions between 9am to 2pm
  • Non-contact rugby for children and young people aged six to 12
