GCSE Results Day 2026

GCSE Results Day

We are really pleased to join students in celebrating and recognising their hard work and achievements as they received their GCSE results today (20 August).

Pupils have worked hard over the past few years and these results are a testament to their perseverance and dedication.

Councillor Caroline Newton, Cabinet Member for Finance, Corporate Services and Education, said:

Congratulations to all students receiving their results today.

Bexley’s Year 11 students should feel incredibly proud of their achievements, as should the teachers and families who have helped guide and support them.

These outstanding results open the door to exciting new opportunities, and we are confident that Bexley’s pupils will continue to achieve and thrive in the future.

For some, today will be a time to celebrate. For others, things may not have gone as they hoped or this may be a particularly challenging time for them.

It's important to remember that exam results are just one part of your journey. They do not define your future, and there are many different pathways to achieving your goals.

We wish all our students every success as they take the next steps in their journeys. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who have supported and continue to support this year’s GCSE cohort."
