The London Borough of Bexley has launched a consultation on its emerging Economic Growth Strategy.

Building on a decade of success in jobs, development and infrastructure, the new strategy – “Ready for tomorrow, growing for a better future”, sets out how Bexley will deliver inclusive growth and real benefits for local people.

The strategy focuses on:

• Clear outcomes that make a real difference to everyday life
• Themes and principles to ensure fairness, opportunity and resilience
• Ambitious projects to attract investment, new jobs and create a more prosperous economy

Cllr David Leaf, Leader of Bexley Council, said:
