As part of the Home Office’s national weapons surrender campaign, the FazAmnesty Surrender Van will be visiting Thamesmead on Friday 14 August 2026, providing a safe and anonymous way for people to dispose of unwanted knives and bladed weapons.
The initiative aims to remove dangerous weapons from circulation and supports wider efforts to tackle serious violence and help keep our communities safe.
Anyone wishing to surrender a knife or bladed weapon can do so:

- no questions asked
- no personal details required
