Thanks to our partnership with Trojan Energy over 70 new innovative on-street electric vehicle (EV) charge points will have been installed throughout the Borough by the end of October, providing easy access for residents who want to use cleaner transport options.
To celebrate the Bexley launch Trojan are offering discounted charging rates until 31 December with a Peak rate of 35p/kWh (was 55p) and Off-peak rate of 25p/kWh (was 45p). Start charging with Trojan at www.trojan.energy/ev-charger-locations/bexley
Trojan Energy’s technology has been developed with inclusivity and the urban environment in mind. The charge points sit flat and flush with the pavement when not in use and adhere to the highest safety standards, ensuring pavements remain safe and fully accessible to all, whilst also eliminating street clutter. When charging is required residents simply connect using a personal charging adaptor enabling a fast convenient charge of up to 22kW.
Bexley’s Cabinet Member for Neighbourhoods, Cllr Richard Diment, said:
It’s great to have worked with such an established partner to deliver these new charging points. We’re committed to providing cleaner and greener forms of transport for our residents. The innovative design of these chargers means that as well as reducing street clutter, they maintain the highest safety standards for pedestrians, whilst providing easy access for charging."
Ian Mackenzie, CEO of Trojan Energy, said:
We’re proud to work alongside the London Borough of Bexley to bring our clutter-free charging technology to communities across the borough. Our mission is to make the EV transition achievable for everyone, and this collaboration reflects a shared commitment to inclusive, future-focused transport.”
