A number of events will be taking place in the coming months in Bexleyheath.
Uniformed Services Day and the Bexleyheath Night Markets will return to Bexleyheath Broadway later this month.
The first Night Market will take place on Friday 27 June, with subsequent dates taking place on Friday 25 July and Friday 29 August.
The event will see delicious street food, traders and feature live local talent.
Meanwhile, Uniformed Services Day will take place on Saturday 12 July and feature the Truck Pull Challenge to celebrate the dedication of the fire service, police, military and ambulance teams.
Four trucks will be pulled from Bellegrove Road in Welling to Bexleyheath Broadway.
This will include a fire engine by London Fire Brigade, women will be pulling a pink truck in aid of breast cancer and London Ambulance Service will pull a green tipper truck.
There will be activities for all ages from live emergency service demonstrations to family-friendly fun and interactive experiences.
Councillor Munur, Cabinet Member for Place Shaping, said:
We are delighted to see these events make a return and cannot wait for our residents to enjoy them.
The Night Markets will bring delicious street food, while Uniformed Services Day will see those in our services recognised for their dedication to the people of our borough.
There will be plenty of engaging activities on offer and we hope residents will enjoy the events to come.”
Uniformed Services Day has been organised by The Welling Town Business Associates and Bexleyheath BID.
It will start at 10am and run until 4pm.
