The Bexley (Welling Station) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. XX) Traffic Order 2026
The Bexley (Welling Station) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. XX) Traffic Order 2026
1. Notice Is Hereby Given that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley propose to make the above-mentioned Traffic Order under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the Bexley (Welling Station) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. XX) Traffic Order 2026 would be to amend the Bexley (Welling Station) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018 to:
- remove the Resident Permit parking place in front of No. 100 Burnell Avenue.
- The current single “Free” Parking bay in front of No 106 Burnell Avenue is proposed to be changed to a Resident Permit Parking Bay.
- The removed bay will be replaced with a single yellow line operating between 1pm and 3pm, Monday to Friday
3. Copies of the proposed Order, the corresponding Parent Order (and any Orders that have amended that Order), the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order, and maps which indicates the length of road to which the Order relates, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Contact Centre, Civic Offices, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT.

5. Any person desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the London Borough of Bexley, Traffic Services, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT or by email to traffic@bexley.gov.uk within twenty-one days of this Notice.
6. Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that this Council would be legally obliged to make any comment received in response to this Notice, open to public inspection.

Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2026
Oakway Close, Bexley - Notice of Making an Order
1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable MGroup Ltd on behalf of Thames Water to undertake their Water Mains replacement works, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
- Prohibition of traffic on Oakway Close, Bexley – entire length of the road
- Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition – entire length of the road both sides of the carriageway
Restrictions will be removed when not required.
2. The Order will come into effect on 16 March 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 64 days.
3. Whilst the works are in progress no alternative route will be required.
4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Mount Culver Avenue, Sidcup - Notice of Making an Order
1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable MGroup Ltd on behalf of Thames Water to undertake a new service connection, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
- Prohibition of traffic on Mount Culver Avenue, Sidcup from Nos. 11 to 13.
- Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on Mount Culver Avenue, Sidcup from outside and opposite Nos. 11 to 13
2. The Order will come into effect on 16 March 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via
- Mount Culver Avenue, St. Georges Road, and reverse.
4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable Morrison Water Services on behalf of Thames Water to install a mains and water connection, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
- Prohibition of traffic – no left turn from Thames Road onto Crayford Creek Road, Crayford.
- Prohibition of traffic on Crayford Creek Road, Crayford, from the junction with Thames Road to the junction with Footpath 25 Byway 103 Crayford. A convey will be in place on Thames Road to escort vehicles in and out of Footpath 25 Byway 103 Crayford.
- Removal of the no-entry restriction and one-way restriction, allowing two-way traffic on Thames Road to Footpath 25 Byway 103, Crayford
2. The Order will come into effect on 12 March 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 1 day including weekends.

Proposed development at Hanson Quarry Products Europe Ltd, Church Manorway, Erith
I give notice that application is being made by Mr B Vosper to the London Borough of Bexley Council for planning permission for:
- Erection of processing plant for the importation and processing of construction, demolition and excavation wastes to produce secondary aggregates alongside the importation and processing of marine dredged minerals.
