Burnt Oak Lane and The Oval, Bexley - Notice of Intention

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable M Group Water (Network Infrastructure) Limited on behalf Thames Water to undertake their water mains replacement work, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

• Prohibition of traffic on Burnt Oak Road, Bexley from the junction with Wellington Road
• Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on The Oval full length, both sides of the carriageway

Restrictions will be removed when not required.

2. The Order will come into effect on 28 September 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 56 days.
3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via:

Burnt Oak Lane, Ashcroft Crescent, Wellington Avenue and vice versa.

The Oval, Haddon Grove, Cedar Avenue, Burnt Oak Lane, and vice versa.

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Bellegrove Road, Welling - Notice of Intention

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable highway improvement works by a council contractor on behalf of The London Borough of Bexley, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

• Prohibition of traffic on Bellegrove Road, Welling from outside 415 to outside 293.
• Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on Bellegrove Road, Welling from outside Nursery to outside 293.
• No egress or ingress in any side road adjacent to Bellegrove Road, Bexleyheath.

2. The Order will come into effect on 28 September 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 10 days (night work from 7pm to 2am.
3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via:

Shooters Hill Road, Well Hall Road, Rochester Way, Welling Way, Bellegrove Road, reversed.

Localised diversions will be implemented when required.

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

High Beeches, Sidcup - Notice of Making an Order

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable M Group Water on behalf of Thames Water the effects of which will be the introduction of:

• Prohibition of traffic for the entire length of High Beeches, Sidcup
• No waiting no loading for the entire length of High Beeches, Sidcup

2. The Order will come into effect on 21 September 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 78 days.
3. Whilst the works are in progress no alternative routes will be available,

• Access will be maintained for residents and emergency vehicles

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Picardy Manorway, Norman Road, Anderson Way, Eastern Way, Clydesdale Way, Belvedere - Notice of Making an Order

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable highway improvement works by a Council contractor on behalf of London Borough of Bexley, the effects of which will be the introduction of:

• Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Picardy Manorway from the junction with Eastern Way to the junction with Bronze Age Way, Belvedere
• Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Norman Road at the junction with Picardy Manorway, Belvedere
• Prohibition of traffic in (directional Westbound Road Closure) Anderson Way at the junction with Picardy Manorway, Belvedere. Access to be maintained when works allow for emergency vehicles.
• Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Clydesdale Way at the junction with Yarnton Way, Belvedere
• A speed reduction from 50mph to 30mph in Yarnton Way, Eastern Way, Picardy Manorway and Bronze Age Way, Belvedere to allow convoy working when required to provide access
• No waiting no loading (Parking Restrictions) in Anderson Way both sides of carriageway for entire length

2. The Order will come into effect on 21 September 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 21 days. Overnight from 7pm to 5am.
3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via,

• Eastern Way, Harrow Manorway, Yarnton Way, Eastern Way
• Harrow Manorway, Abbey Road, Gilbert Road, Picardy Street, Lower Road, Picardy Manorway and reverse
• Mulberry Way, Church Manorway, Lower Road, Bronze Age Way

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016
