Heathside Avenue, Jenton Avenue, and Hamilton Road, Bexleyheath - Notice of Intention

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable JDT Utilities on behalf of Southern Gas Networks to undertake their Gas Mains Replacement work, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

• Prohibition of traffic on Heathside Avenue, Bexleyheath at the junction with Pickford Lane, Bexleyheath
• Prohibition of traffic on Jenton Avenue, Bexleyheath at the junction with Pickford Lane, Bexleyheath
• Prohibition of traffic on Hamilton Road, Bexleyheath at the junction with Pickford Lane, Bexleyheath
• Rolling road closure restrictions to be removed when not in use.

2. The Order will come into effect on 10 August 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 6 weeks.

3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via:

• Pickford Road, Avenue Road, Crook Log, Brampton Road, Long Lane, and reverse
• Brampton Road, Crook Log, Avenue Road, Long Lane, Pickford Road, and reverse
• Localised diversions will be sign posted as and when required

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable JDT on behalf of Southern Gas Networks to undertake their gas mains replacement works, the effects of which will be the introduction of: 

• Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on Lavernock Road at the junction with Francis Avenue, Bexleyheath
• Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on Francis Avenue, Bexleyheath outside and opposite from No. 1 to outside No. 6

2. The Order will come into effect on 31 July 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 2 months.

3. Whilst the works are in progress no alternative routes will be required.

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable highway improvement works by a Council contractor on behalf of London Borough of Bexley, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

•  Prohibition of traffic on Highview Road, Sidcup from the junction with Granville Road to the end of Highview Road, Sidcup 

•  Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on Highview Road, Sidcup from the junction with Granville Road to the end of Highview Road, Sidcup 

2. The Order will come into effect on 3 August 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 weeks.

3. Whilst the works are in progress no alternative routes will be possible. However, ingress and egress to be maintained for residents and emergency services.

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

• Prohibition of traffic on Iron Mill Lane, Crayford from the junction with Maiden Lane to the junction with Thames Road, Crayford
• Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition from the junction with Maiden Lane to the junction with Thames Road, Crayford (both sides of the carriageway)

2. The Order will come into effect on 3 August 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 days.

3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via:

• Iron Mill Lane, Thames Road, Mayplace Avenue, Maiden Lane reverse.
• Maiden Lane, Crayford Way, Thames Road, and reverse.

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable an event to take place organised by Serious Events, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

• No Waiting and No Loading in Bazalgette Way, Thamesmead either side of the road.
• No Waiting and No Loading in Hartslock Drive, Thamesmead (non-residential side) from Yarnton Way to Southmere Square
• No Waiting and No Loading in Hartslock Drive, Thamesmead from Nos 10 to 26 (residential side) to enable disabled parking for the Thamesmead Festival

2. The Order will come into effect on 6 August 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 days.

3. Whilst the works are in progress, no alternative route will be required.

1. Notice Is Hereby Given that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley have on 27 July 2026 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.

2. The general effect of the Bexley (Bus Parking Places)(Amendment No. xx) Traffic Order 2026 would be to:

• Remove a bus parking place that operates Mon-Fri 7.30am-4.30pm from Halt Robin Road outside of the entrance to Cornerstone School. 

3. The general effect of the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No xx) Traffic Order 2026 would be to:

• introduce a length of  “at any time waiting restrictions” to the north and south side of Halt Robin Road, outside of the school entrance to Cornerstone School. The south side restrictions is proposed between Gladeswood Road to the eastern extremity of Halt Robin Road. The Northern side is proposed near the entrance to Cornerstone School

Note: in addition to the above restrictions school keep clear marking will be rearranged outside of the school entrances.

The Council of the London Borough of Bexley Hereby Gives Notice that it has made an order under section 247(2A) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (“the Act”) authorising the stopping up of an area of highway at Bexley Road cul-de-sac, Erith, in the London Borough of Bexley, as set out in the schedule to the order. 

The order is made to enable development to be carried out in accordance with planning permission granted under Part III of the Act with reference: 25/01304/FULM. 

A copy of the order and plan number BEX/SUO/024 may be inspected free of charge at the Contact Centre, Civic Offices, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT on Mondays to Fridays between 9.30am to 15.00pm (excluding bank holidays and public holidays). A copy may also be viewed on the Council’s website. 

The order comes into force on 20 July 2026.

1. Notice Is Hereby Given that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley propose to make the above titled Traffic Order under Sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.

3. The current Resident Permit Parking bay in front of Nos 1 and 3 Pelham Road is proposed to be changed to a shared Resident and Business Permit Parking Bay
