1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, hereby give notice that an order has been made, to enable M Group Water (Network Infrastructure) Limited on behalf of Thames Water to undertake their mains water replacement works, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
   • Prohibition of traffic on Glenhurst Avenue from the junction with Manor Way to the junction with Hurst Road, Sidcup
   • Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on Glenhurst Avenue from the junction with Manor Way to the junction with Hurst Road, Sidcup

Restrictions to be removed when not required.

1. The Order will come into effect on 5 October 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 232 days.
2. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via: 
   Hurst Road, Manor Way, and reverse
   Hurst Road, Camden Road, Parkwood Road, and reverse.
3. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
4. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

   • Prohibition of traffic in Brixham Road from outside number 81 to the side of 98 Wrotham Road, Welling
   • Prohibition of traffic in Normanhurst Avenue at the junction with Swanley Road, Welling
   • Prohibition of traffic in Swanley Road at the junction with Brixham Road, Welling
   • No waiting no loading as detailed in Schedule one of this order
2. The Order will come into effect on 8 October and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 2 days.
3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via,
   • Brixham Road, Axminster Crescent, Selsey Crescent, Wrotham Road, Teignmouth Road, Wrotham Road and reverse
   • Localised diversions will be signposted as and when required
4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
