Beechfield Road, Erith - Notice of Intention

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable Galliford Try on behalf of Thames Water to undertake their Mains Relay Scheme they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of Prohibition of traffic on Beechfield Road, Erith from the junction with Frinsted Road to the junction with Avenue Road, Erith.
  2. The Order will come into effect on 19 January 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 3 months.
  3. Whilst the works are in progress, alternative routes will be provided via:
    - Avenue Road
    - Avenue Road, Broadoak Road, Frinsted Road
    - Frinsted Road (Eastbound)
    - Frinsted Road, Stelling Road, Broadoak Road, Avenue Road
    - Frinstead Road (Westbound)
    - Frinsted Road, Broadoak Road, Avenue Road
  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Compton Place, Erith - Notice of Intention

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable a new electrical installation by Cable Connections Ltd on behalf of Energy Assets Networks Ltd they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Compton Place at the junction with the roundabout on James Watt Way, Erith.
  2. The Order will come into effect on 15 January 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 2 days.
  3. Whilst the works are in progress no alternative routes will be avalable, access will be maintained for Residents and emergency vehicles.
  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

Manor Road, Erith - Notice of Intention

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable Cable Connections Limited on behalf of Energy Assets Networks Limited to install a new service connection, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of prohibition of traffic on Manor Road at the junction with James Watt Way, Erith.
  2. The Order will come into effect on 19 January 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 6 days.
  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via Manor Road, Slade Green Road, Bridge Road, Northend Road, South Road, Queens Road, James Watt Way and reverse.
  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable Powercare on behalf of UK Power Networks to undertake a new connection, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
    - prohibition of traffic on Lower Park Road, Belvedere, from the junction with Halt Robin Road to No. 8 Lower Park Road, Belvedere
    - waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on Lower Park Road, Belvedere, from the junction with Halt Robin Road to No. 8 Lower Park Road, Belvedere.

    - prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Crayford Road from the junction with Acorn Road to the junction with Princes Road, Dartford

    - banned left turn out of the Lidl access road
    - weight Limit to be suspended for the Bridge on Footscray High Street from the junction with Evry Road to the junction with Palm Avenue over the River Cray.
  2. The Order will come into effect on 19 January 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 8 days.

The Bexley (Crayford Station) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. XX) Traffic Order 2026

  1. Notice Is Hereby Given that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley propose to make the above-mentioned Traffic Order under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.
  2. The general effect of the Bexley (Crayford Station) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. XX) Traffic Order 2026 would be to amend the Bexley (Crayford Station) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018 to remove the end section of the Resident Permit parking place in front of No. 64 Ridge Way, Crayford. The removed section of residents parking bay which currently operates between 9am and 11am, Monday to Friday will be amended by a reduction of 4.2 metres. The removed section of the bay will be replaced with a single yellow line operating between 9am and 11am, Monday to Friday
  3. Copies of the proposed Order, the corresponding Parent Order (and any Orders that have amended that Order), the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order, and maps which indicates the length of road to which the Order relates, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Contact Centre, Civic Offices, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT.
