Results day

Haberdashers Crayford Academy

A-Level, AS-Level and T-Level results have now been published and our young people should be immensely proud of their achievements.

Bexley's Education Team had the privilege of visiting school communities this Thursday for the 2025 examination results, sharing an important moment in the journey of our young students' lives with the dedicated teaching staff who have guided and supported them in achieving their goals.

Councillor Caroline Newton, Cabinet Member for Education said:

Congratulations to all our students who received their results today.

We are so proud of our borough’s students who have worked so hard ahead of this day and look forward to seeing what they will achieve in the years to come.

These achievements are the product of years of dedication, resilience, and hard work - not only from our students, but also from their families, teachers, and school staff who have supported them every step of the way.

It is important to remember your results are just one milestone in your journey, so take pride in all the hard work and dedication you have invested.

I would like to thank all the teachers, families and friends who have supported Bexley's students throughout their journey.'’

Sixth Form students at Haberdashers’ Crayford Academy celebrated excellent A Level and vocational results, with stronger outcomes than last year.

Executive Headteacher, Steve Wheatley, said:

This year’s results are a real testament to the grit, ambition, and resilience of our young people – and the dedication of the staff and families who have supported them every step of the way.

I am so proud of what they’ve achieved. It’s a joy to see our students leaving us not only with great qualifications, but with the confidence, character, and skills to thrive in the next stage of their lives.

Whether they’re heading to university, an apprenticeship, or straight into employment, they take with them the very best of what it means to be part of our Crayford community. I wish them nothing but the success they deserve.”

Among their successes this year were:

  • Kia, who achieved A in Maths, B in Biology, and B in Chemistry and is going to Birmingham University to study Chemical Engineering

Acting Headteacher for Townley Grammar School, Sarina Totty, celebrated the students’ success. Miss Totty also extended her gratitude to the dedicated teaching staff.

She said:

We couldn't be prouder of our students.

Their commitment to their studies has been truly inspiring.

These impressive results are a direct reflection of their hard work and perseverance - they have undoubtedly laid the groundwork for bright and promising futures."

Chislehurst and Sidcup Grammar School matched last year’s record results, with 73% of grades at A*–B and a slight increase in the overall pass rate.

Fifty students achieved at least three A*/A grades, and fourteen secured Oxbridge or medicine/dentistry places – equalling the school’s highest ever for medical/dental entries.

Executive Headteacher at Cleeve Park, Alex O’Donnell, said:

I am extremely proud of all our sixth form students.

Their resilience and determination have enabled them to achieve their goals, whether heading to university, apprenticeships, or the world of work.

Our sixth form continues to thrive academically."

57% of grades were A* to B for Beths student and 48 students achieved at least one A* grade.
