Secondary School offer day 2026

post, social media forms of communication

Offers for secondary school places have been made today, Monday 2 March.

This year, 98.74% of parents in Bexley applied online and will receive an email after 5pm with details of their child’s offer and further guidance. Letters have been posted today by first-class mail to those who applied using a paper form.

All online applicants will receive an email advising them to log in to their e-admissions account, where they can view their child’s offer and find guidance on what to do if they did not receive their first preference.

There were 2,991 applications from Bexley residents this year, 6 fewer than last. The number of Bexley children offered a place at a Bexley secondary school has risen to 77.4%, up from 75.9% last year. Additionally, 96.11% of applicants received one of their preferences, a slight increase from 96.3% last year.

Cllr Caroline Newton, Cabinet Member for Education, said:

Finding out which secondary school you will attend is a significant milestone for Bexley’s primary school students and their families and we are delighted that the number of Bexley children attending a Bexley secondary school has risen this year.

We are excited to share the news of their designated secondary schools.

I would like to thank Bexley’s Schools Admissions team for their efforts in facilitating this important step, guiding our students and their families toward a promising future at their chosen schools.”

Further details can be found in the offer email or letter.
