The Staff Thanks and Recognition Scheme (STARS) is a way of recognising the exceptional hard work, dedication and achievements of staff across the London Borough of Bexley who help to make Bexley a better place to work and live.

Have you received outstanding service from someone who works for the Council? Do you know someone who deserves to be celebrated for their outstanding work and dedication? If so we would like to hear from you.

Members of the public are invited to make nominations for individuals in the following categories:

Excellence in Customer Service

For consistently delivering excellent customer care to residents and demonstrating that improving customer care is one of our top priorities. This is an individual who:

• actively engages with customers and goes the extra mile to meet their needs
• finds ways to improve their service to customers
• ensures their customers always have a positive experience and that their individual needs are met

Your Bexley Star

A Council Officer who deserves recognition for being brilliant all year round – someone who is always excellent at their job, supportive to others and a great ambassador for the Council. They’re someone who:

• encourages achievement and is a positive role model
• is positive and can-do in all their actions
• makes the workplace a better place to be
• has a lasting and meaningful impact on your community and quality of life
• creates a great impression of the Council and the borough
• ensure customers and colleagues always have a positive experience and goes the extra mile to meet their needs
